An innovation studio building the next generation of circular infrastructure.
At KP Labs, KP Labs, an innovation studio of KonsciousPlanet Technologies LLC, is a Houston-based deep-tech company commercializing a proprietary modular platform that recovers critical metals — copper, cobalt, lithium, and nickel — from industrial wastewater, e-waste, and landfill leachate. Our 20-ft containerized module deploys at the waste source, off-grid, without chemical reagents, at $280K versus multi-million-dollar centralized alternatives. Negative feedstock economics, 56–75% gross margins, and a 14-month payback period define a fundamentally different unit economics model for domestic critical mineral supply.
Critical minerals are buried in waste streams. We built the technology to get them out at 50% lower OPEX onsite itself.
Our Business Verticals
Data centers generate heavy metal contamination (Cu, Ni, Co) through end-of-life servers, PCBs, batteries, and cooling systems. Remediation involves expensive physical separation, energy-intensive processes with no recovery systems — KP Labs' modular platform can extract value from these waste streams at no cost and onsite.
Geothermal brines and mine wastewater are metal-rich aqueous streams (Li, Cu, rare earths, and precious metals) — currently treated as waste. KP Labs' low-cost platform can selectively recover these critical and precious minerals from brine/mine effluents, positioning KP Labs at the intersection of clean energy infrastructure and domestic critical mineral supply chains.
Industrial effluents carry high concentrations of Cr(VI), Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, etc. from bath solutions and rinsewater, while landfill leachate contains a complex cocktail of heavy metals mobilized from mixed solid waste — both are largely untreated or undertreated waste streams. KP Labs' platform can reduce toxic Cr(VI) to Cr(III), precipitate carcinogenic metals, and recover value-added critical minerals from these streams simultaneously.

Opportunities for Partnership/Investment
There has been NO better time to do business in critical metal recovery until NOW.
Interested in building a symbiotic relationship with our first-ever modular critical metal (Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium, and Copper) extraction facility from the data center E-waste, here in the US?
